Lauren Wang is a California transplant, having left the snow in Buffalo and her heart in San Francisco (with a brief pit stop in Texas). Prior to handl Consulting, Lauren led product marketing activities at SBC Internet Services, managing channel relationships, overseeing multi-million dollar marketing programs, and leading efforts around product enhancements, growing the business into one of the largest ISPs in the nation.
Lauren believes that great strategy and planning need to be complemented by flawless execution. She gets it from the get-go, quickly understanding the issues at hand and delivering results to the client. Lauren excels at getting product into people's hands and determining the best way to do so. She is a perfectionist at heart, has a great eye for detail, and can present well-informed, well-balanced viewpoints to strengthen the client's products and solutions.
Lauren Wang earned an M.B.A. in High-Tech Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association, the Society for Advancement in Consulting, and Women in Consulting.
